Blog | Growth Manifesto Part. 1  #W2TM

  • Allow events to Change You

be willing to grow. growth is different than something that happens to you. you produce & live it yourself.

  • Forget about Good.

growth is not necessarily ‘good.’ growth is about exploration, if you stick to only what’s good you’ll never truly grow.

  • Process is more than Outcome

when the payoff or outcome drives the process you’ll never break new ground. when the process itself drives the outcome you’ll at least know you’ll actually want to be wherever you end up.

  • Love your Experiments

look at the big picture when it comes to trying new things, try to find fun in your failures.

  • Go DEEP

the deeper you go into anything the more likely you are to find something of value.

  • Capture/Log Accidents

you either win or you Learn something.

  • Study

use the necessity to produce as an excuse to study, it’ll prove to be beneficial either way.

  • Drift

allow yourself to get lost in your own thoughts as well as the world. lack judgement, postpone criticism.

  • Start ANYWHERE

thinking that there’s a set place or way to begin something can be crippling until you let that notion go.

  • Everyone is a Leader

whenever/wherever growth happens allow it. follow it when it identifies with you, don’t be afraid to follow someone else’s lead.

You ever felt like you couldn’t get away from your phone? You ever put your phone to your ear an say why is it so hot? You ever say damn it’s not even 12pm an my battery at 50% already. I’m sure I’m not the only person that has thought or felt that way. These days you feel naked without your phone it’s apart of you and with all the app options there isn’t anything it can’t do. Here is a challenge we can all try an get down with to see if we can escape all electronics for a day or even a few hours is Progress. Below is some ideas to keep yourself busy.

Gym- This is good not only for looks but mainly health purposes making sure your in the best shape you could possibly be for your age.

Cards- I can’t even keep track of how many different type of card games you can play. You have endless game choices & it’s competition & entertainment all in one.

Park- The park is one place you will enjoy from your a kid till you grow old. So get up get out & go walk shoot some hoops, ride a bike, take the kids wit you if you have any.

Books- so many good books out there everyone can find something that interests them to read. Everyone should have a book shelf & quiet room they can go to read a few hours a day.

Talk To People – socialize in reality with your family, friends, neighbors etc sometimes we forget we know real people and only communicate with whoever we see on social media.

Those were just a few tips I wanted to share I can’t give all my gems away y’all ain’t paying me haha enjoy your day & give those electronics a break. Thank you for reading as well.

Blog: 6 Ways to (help) You Know You’re on the Right Path (by @DMND_XCIV) #W2TM via @W2TM_Blog_Posts

people tell me (and will tell you as well) i’m on the wrong path all the time because i’m not progressing towards the kinds of goals most parents generally speaking of course had for me. i don’t own a house (or a car), i’m not married, and i’m not trying have anyone who didn’t ask to be here look to me for guidance. i don’t knock those things as worthy goals, but they aren’t for me, right now.

i’m on a different kind of path, and like anything else in life, hindsight reveals a lot — so you just can’t know if it’s the right thing to do. is the risk of following my intuition — when it runs in the face of what most people are doing or what has traditionally been fulfilling to people — going to pay off? so how do you know if you are on the right path? if you’re hearing your intuition correctly? these are some ways i try to listen to myself:

When it comes to the driving force of your path, there’s not a lot of self doubt. this does not mean your life is completely free from self-doubt, but that you don’t worry whether you’re “really” the thing you are trying to be. you don’t have to have everything figured out, and you don’t have to have perfect outcomes, you just have to feel good about the process.

You’re enjoying yourself. it doesn’t feel like constant work to be living your life. you don’t spend your days waiting to clock out or wishing you had more vacation days. you love waking up in the morning. when you follow your inner path, you’re happy. you’re not at your destination, but you’re enjoying the sights on the ride.

You consider yourself to be very fortunate. when you’ve identified and begun to follow it, there’s a sense of relief and gratitude that comes because you know there are countless others who because of their life circumstances, aren’t able to be in this awesome journey in their own lives.

You love listening to advice, but you don’t often take it. you are confident enough in yourself that you enjoy listening to advice with an open mind — you’re always open to thinking of things from another angle. but you take what suits you and leave the rest. you don’t do things because your parents tell you it’s the right way thing to do, or because your best friend is also doing it.

It doesn’t look like anyone else’s dream. if you ever find yourself saying, “this seems like so much fun, maybe I should do it!” before trying something you have to immerse yourself in this is a signal you are on the wrong path, when it’s a purely mimetic desire, when it comes as a result of seeing someone else do it.

There’s a possibility of failure. if you can’t fail, if you have the world’s largest safety net underneath you, you haven’t ventured out far enough to do anything, there’s zero chance of success. playing it safe is a form of failing — and it’s the worst form because in addition to actual failure you also have the regret of wishing you’d actually tried.

News | CNN’s Bill Weir Presents Brothers Keeper (The clipse) Interview #W2TM via @W2TM_Blog_Posts

This is a really good interview here I enjoyed this piece by Bill Weir as he sits down with the Thornton brothers better known as Pusha T & No Malice. This pretty much confirms what most smart fans already knew that there won’t be another clipse album Malice is focused on changing his life and I applaud him for that. This is worth checking out for EVERYBODY.

Blog: What’s Real By @KINGRICHIEII #W2TM

WHATS REAL ??

Now a days everyone uses the word “real” for everything. But what does it really mean cause most of the time it has to do with having a lot of  money or being gangster. We all don’t have money and are not gangsters so does that make you fake cause you don’t have those things that rappers, athletes and real gangsters have ?

I disagree cause real is being who you really are right?

Not to act like someone you’re not to get fame and fortune. Doing what you say and saying what you do. Cause most people will front to make themselves look better just to get a buck and/or fame.  That’s a fraud isn’t it cause if you’re lying and acting like it true it’s not real .

Hmm so most people  ain’t real cause if we knew the truth it would be a lie…..WHAT DO YOU THINK??

Blog: Interview + 2 NEW SONGS With @Chev_Robinson 1/10 By @NamesR4Friends #FromDaBottom2Stardom #W2TM

What’s the next move for you that you working on right now?

Right now I’m currently working on a Ep and an Album. The Ep will be some free music just to drop to get people ready for the Album!

For those that don’t know you us to rap under the name the infamous swagg what inspired the change?

I went through an identity crisis once my brother passed away, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to keep my name or change my name to infamous dysh for my brother or even use an old nickname of my fathers. after a while I realized I was gonna be more honest and genuine with my music and give people me..the real me. so I decided to do the same with my name.

How do you get in the zone before you record because a lot of your music is deep?

I don’t really have a process or anything to get in the zone. writing, recording, shooting videos. everything feels so natural to me now at this point I’m always in my zone when it comes to music. it really has become 2nd nature to me.

What project will the October 22 track be featured on?

My Ep dropping soon!

Who is an artist that you would say inspired your music?

2pac. his message and ideas are something that still live on and exist. i want my legacy to continue similar after im gone.

Any artists you looking forward to working with on your next project?

honestly im so content with my circle. I don’t feel the need  to include too many features on my next project. No cockiness but im very confident with everybody apart of Black Military

What’s the movement behind ya music these days I know you Dysh Life but I know you rep glock city & Black military?

DyshLife will always be the legacy i carry for my brother. Glock City is at heart and will always be my family before anything but now i rep B3M (Black Military Music Mafia) Proud to say I feel as if im running with the strongest musical team in the Lehigh valley.

When you did the control freestyle did you think you was going to get over 25000 views so quickly?

HELL NAH! I seriously wrote it knowing it was gonna cause some buzz and make some people feel some kinda way but I didn’t even have my mind-set on trying to reach that many views that fast. blessed it happened though because im glad the message reached more people than I intended.

Why should we support your music?

I don’t feel like I should say im a real nigga but my music is real and anyone who listens and can connect will vouch for me after they hear a song. I don’t do it for material gain I truly make music to touch the souls of people in struggle.

How do you keep your self hungry musically to focus on the bigger picture?

Put God first and keep the love of music my main priority before I put a dollar sign in front of it and begin to make songs with less meaning and purpose only to make money.

Check Chevy music on Datpiff Under The Infamous Swagg & Chevy Robinson also check his videos on YouTube below is 2 new songs as well as 2 classic videos.
